The hottest topic in the news and in politics is the current ridiculous debate about asylum seekers. It is truly disappointing that our parliament cannot find a way forward to prevent any further tradegy at sea for the sake of inhumane policies.

i disagree with your introductory statement. this is not a debate. a debate requires two sides. both main parties are of the same opinion over this. at least the greens are finally taking a stand. this feels like tampa all over again.
